Sacre Coeur School

Port-Au-Prince, Haiti

Rebuilding the site of a 150 year-old catholic girls academy following the devastating earthquake of 2010, this project entailed a new secondary school, as well as a full master plan for the future. Innovative seismic structural design utilizing light-gauge steel framing(versus traditional concrete) in concert with passive building design were central aspects of providing more modern and safer facilities for the school community.
